About Jon Walker
Jon Walker has worked for Fairtrade for 10 years. His current role is the senior advisor on cocoa with an overview of strategy and implementation. His work includes Fairtrade’s West Africa Cocoa Programme providing organisational strengthening support to cooperatives, increasing access to digital management systems for cooperatives, increasing access to deforestation monitoring data for cooperatives, Fairtrade’s Women’s School of Leadership and reviews of Fairtrade’s pricing and standard interventions. Prior to Fairtrade Jon worked for Sustain; the alliance for better food and farming and Tate & Lyle Sugars.
