The event

The lecture is about the world's first cocoa-free chocolate Nocoa and how the siblings Maximilian and Sara Marquart came up with this idea. The start-up Planet A Foods, founded by two scientists, is now 2 years old and Nocoa is already running through the production line by the ton.

Sara is a food chemist and a recognised specialist in aroma and flavour formation with over 10 years of experience. Max is a materials scientist. He has successfully founded two companies and has helped over 7,000 startups partner with businesses. 

Planet A Foods operates in the B2B space as an "ingredient platform" to replace chocolate in mass-produced products such as biscuits and bars, reducing the carbon footprint and making products greener overall. The vision is to save 500Mt CO2 per year.
