With Planet A Foods, we revolutionize the food industry to protect the planet we love. Our company’s mission is to create significantly more sustainable food ingredients, and thus save millions of tons of CO2 emissions each year.
Chocolate is much beloved, but behind its sweetness lies the reality of deforestation, poverty, huge carbon footprints, and steadily rising raw material costs. ChoViva, the world's first cocoa-free chocolate is a solution to a lot of these issues as it decouples chocolate from limited resources and exploitation and offers a great taste experience saving up to 90% CO2 emissions and up to 20% in raw material costs compared to chocolate.
One key variable in making chocolate more sustainable is the consumer and the question: Are consumers ready to switch to a more sustainable cocoa-free chocolate alternative? We will provide insights on the state of consumer awareness, demand and willingness to change behaviors focusing on the example of our ChoViva.
