Heykel Trabelsi is a Product Manager at SMEY and holds a PhD in Biotechnology. His academic and industrial work has focused on engineering microbial strains to produce high–value, biosourced ingredients for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries. At SMEY, he contributes to the development of NOY Neobank of Yeasts, enabling lipid production from non-GMO yeasts and the design of tailored oils and fats.
